Who Are We?
We are members and friends of the First Unitarian Society who focus on service, learning and fellowship. We meet several times during the year for a luncheon and speaker. The Alliance also engages in fundraising for the benefit of the Society. For instance, we sponsor two “Super Roll Sundays” each year following the morning Assembly. Our famous cinnamon rolls will be on sale with proceeds benefiting our work on behalf of the Society.
We meet the first Wednesday of most months from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM .
What Are Our Goals?
- To bring members into closer acquaintance and fellowship.
- To encourage an interchange of ideas – social, economic, and religious.
- To give service and support to the Society and to philanthropic movements.
- To promote and extend the influence of liberal religion and especially of the Society.
- To encourage and inspire personal growth.
Annual membership for a person or a couple is $25; the membership year is August through July. Both men and women are encouraged to join.
