First Unitarian Society members hold a service auction every March to raise funds for worthwhile causes both in our congregation and in our wider community. The night is fun event for all that promotes a sense of community within our congregation. Events include a silent auction, a live auction, live music, food, and drinks. Items sold at the auction are donated by congregation members and local businesses.
Our portion of the proceeds will be used to support ministerial interns in the coming year. The traditional bid-a-need portion of the live auction will support MCTC students.
The doors open at 5:00 for hors d’oeuvres and drinks. The silent auction commences at 5:30. The live auction will follow at 7:30 with desserts to top off the evening. Tickets are available in the Lower Assembly Hall following Assemblies on Sunday mornings. They are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (if you are a new member, tickets are half-price!).
