Service Auction

auctionFirst Unitarian Society members hold a service auction every March to raise funds for worthwhile causes both in our congregation and in our wider community.  The night is fun event for all that promotes a sense of community within our congregation. Events include a silent auction, a live auction, live music, food, and drinks. Items sold at the auction are donated by congregation members and local businesses.

This year’s auction is Saturday, March 12, 2016. A majority of the proceeds will go to:
* Protect Minnesota
* Non-Violent Peaceforce

Our portion of the proceeds will be used to support ministerial interns in the coming year. The traditional bid-a-need portion of the live auction will support MCTC students.

The doors open at 5:00 for hors d’oeuvres and drinks. The silent auction commences at 5:30. The live auction will follow at 7:30 with desserts to top off the evening. Tickets are available in the Lower Assembly Hall following Assemblies on Sunday mornings. They are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (if you are a new member, tickets are half-price!).
