Apply to exhibit your work following the instructions below:
Artist Participation Requirements:
- To apply to exhibit your work please email a cover letter to the Art Committee (office@firstunitarian.org, subj. “Gallery Application”) describing what you wish to exhibit, a link to your website or photo gallery to view the work, and a completed art gallery application.
- Selected artists must deliver art works framed and ready to hang in the gallery space (number to be determined).
It is recommended that the artist visit the gallery in advance to determine number and size of works to install. Call FUS at 612-377-6608 to arrange a weekday time, or visit on a Sunday from 10am-2pm.
- Artist may be present during installation (on a case by case basis), which uses a wire hanging system.
- Artist will attend the exhibition reception and give a short artist talk about the work. If possible, the artists will promote the reception to their mailing list.
- Artists must sign a release form holding FUS harmless for any damage or loss of the art work as the work is not insured during the exhibition. (Included on the application.)
- If the works are for sale, the artist will provide a price list and will handle all sales personally. No commission is taken by FUS.
