Home for the Holidays!

The year has thrown us more than the usual challenges and tragedies,

and yes, even some unexpected joy.  But none of that can derail

the annual humanist and earth-centered celebration

of the Winter Solstice for the FUS community!

Join us!  Everyone Welcome!

  • Get your DIY Solstice Kit HERE to prepare your own special solstice celebration at home.

  • Take photos of each family member with a lighted candle that can be included in our on-line candle-lit procession. Email your photo HERE by December 11th – use dim light to catch the solstice ambience.

  • Join the 6:45pm FUS web stream on December 20th to watch a program filled with many of our traditional festivities:  caroling, poetry, music, readings and costumed characters!

  • Settle in to enjoy the “The Solstice Soliloquies” featuring special guest – Krampus – that midwinter ogre from ancient lore – and other favorite characters.
