Support Compassionate End-of-Life Choices

Introduced in February, the MN End-of-Life Option Act (HF1930/SF1813) will allow access to medical aid in dying to terminally ill adults 18 years of age or older with six months or less to live. Qualified adults who are fully capable of making their own decisions and able to ingest the medication will have the option of requesting this help from their physician. Ten states and Washington, D.C., now provide this right. The MN Act includes safeguards for everyone involved – individuals, physicians, caregivers and family members – to ensure informed decisions about end-of-life options. This legislation can give the terminally ill peace of mind and more control over their final days.

Message: I urge you to support HF1930/SF1813 which provide eligible Minnesota citizens the option and right to access medical assistance in dying.
