While we welcome contributions (and other payments) in any form, the fact of the matter is that we “lose” close to 3% on credit card transactions. Bank and credit card fees eat up close to $10,000 each year–money that we would rather use to support our mission.
We are now set up with a Paypal account to receive funds. Their transaction fees are lower than on credit cards. We encourage anyone who uses Paypal now to consider switching away from credit cards. The link to use is https://paypal.me/FirstUnitarianSocMpl?locale.x=en_US.
