Humanism, and the larger freethought tradition of which Humanism is a part, is explicitly and unambiguously a tradition of iconoclasm, a tradition of anti-tradition. Consequently, we must continuously be ready, willing, and adapted to aiding all human beings in their struggles to free themselves from oppression.
